Travel the World, But Where To Go

IF YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD YOU GO AND WHY?

I love the places I have been to but I would love to go to Ireland.  My great-grandmother was born there and a lot of my family heritage is Irish.  It would be interesting to see the culture and the beauty of the island. One of the places I would like to visit while in Ireland is the Cliffs of Moher. It is the first picture in this link HERE.  This would be my “nature-oriented” trip.  Most of my time would be spent taking pictures or getting to know the ‘locals’ in town pubs.

For my second country, I think I would like to see Nepal. I remember doing a project on the country in grade four talking about the environmental problems they were facing. I cannot climb mountains, but would love to visit the mountain towns. I think it is a country that is often forgotten by the Western world, but is just as impoverished as many. For more information click HERE or tourism HERE or images HERE.  I think this would be my “eye-opening” experience, where I would learn more about myself.

I find it refreshing to realize that the world is my community.  In extension, my goal is to meet as many people as I can before I die.  I think that the communities we create are what keeps society moving.  New connections keeps the excitement alive.

With Love,

xoxo S

    1. I will keep that in mind definitely. Japan interests me or maybe even South Korea. Antarctica is very remote but as you say the wildlife would be incredible. Thanks for the ideas 🙂

    1. 50 countries!!! To be honest, I have good intentions but have only been to the United States and France plus my home-country Canada, which is big enough on it’s own to be several countries if you compare it to Europe. I am going back to France next year for an exchange and maybe then I will have the chance to explore a bit more.
