I came home from a Saturday in the sun and needed something to quench that undying thirst. When I saw a bag of lemons in the fridge I had a dangerously delicious idea!
1 cup sugar (can reduce to 3/4 cup)
1 cup water (for the simple syrup)
1 cup lemon juice
3 to 4 cups cold water (to dilute)
First put sugar and 1cup of water in a small saucepan to dilute the sugar.
Then squeeze the juice out of 4-5 lemons to get 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the seeds out and then put lemon juice in a pitcher. Add the heated sugar water and the 4 cups of cold water. It will need to sit in the fridge to cool.
